TBH it’s actually quite an innocuous ad. Reminds me somewhat of Nigel Blackwell, better known as ‘Half Man Half Biscuit’ doing the voiceover for a range of BP ads in the early 2000s. Odd for the association but so disconnected it prob has little impact on either’s reputation.
