To be fair the sad fact is that as women get older they don’t always look so good while men seem to last a little longer. It is not all about power and money, but that clearly has a role in this relationship dynamic.

I’m with John on this one. Rene Russo was hardly old at 39. She went on to do ‘The Thomas Crown Affair’ five years later with Pierce Brosnan and looked great. The pair sparkled with on screen chemistry. The film is also notable for the fact that it paired two stars who were almost exactly matched in age. He was 44 and she 45. A rare occurrence in Hollywood.
