halleberryHalle Berry has hopped aboard the celebrity perfume bandwagon alongside Jennifer Lopez, the Beckhams, Kate Moss, Britney Spears, Sarah Jessica Parker, Naomi Campbell and Gwen Stefani (to name but a few).

While Stefani gave us the cryptic ‘Harajaku Lovers’ rather than ‘Gwen’, Berry and Coty Fragrances have gone for no-nonsense ‘Halle’.

Given that the actress reportedly spent two years making sure the scent was just right, they probably ran out of patience before they got around to naming it. It contains Sicilian bergamot, fig leaves, pear blossom, the African root olibanum and sandalwood to “evoke memories of the beach”.

Halle, who described the scent as “very sensual, very natural, very much reflective of the outdoors”, waded through the surf  in a virtually transparent dress and a plunging crochet number to promote the fragrance.

Halle is of course used to bursting from the surf following her bikini scene in ‘Die Another Day’ in homage to Ursula Andress who did the same 40 years earlier in ‘Dr No’.

The perfume will be available in stores from next week - look for it on the shelves in between ‘Haddaway’ and ‘Harold’.
