Glancing through this morning’s Metro, celebrity sell out came across this mouthwatering review for Sake No Hana Sushi Bar, part owned by Evgeny Lebedev, son of Russian billionaire and new owner of The Evening Standard, Alexander.
“Atonishingly good sweet king crab…the most meltingly, deeply savory eel…you should go and astonish yourself.”
It certainly looks like the place to be, which is quite suprising when we looked up the restaurant on the ThisisLondon website and discovered the same reviewer awarded the eating place only two stars last year, along with this withering review: ” I hate the softshell crab, soggily drowning under a hummock of wilted mizuna. Swampy veg, damp crab: what is the point?”
Seems things have picked at Sake No Hana as today’s soft crab is hailed “a blast”.
Is something cooking in ThisisLondon’s kitchens?
