Socialite Paris Hilton has fallen prey to cyber thieves who have hacked into her
website and infected it with a virus to steal her fans' identities. It has apparently affected thousands of fans -- who would have thought she had so many.
The virus, discovered by computer security consultants ScanSafe, prompts fans to update their system and then downloads to their computer.
This is not the first time Hilton has been the target of cyber crooks. Recently a message on LinkedIn promised pictures of the heiress naked. Fans clicked on the fake links, which led them to websites infected with viruses.
So beware, it seems it's a risky business being a fan of Paris.
